چکیده

Lung cancer remains one of the most common malignant tumors. Identifying cervical lymph node metastases is important to stage lung cancer, evaluate patients’ prognosis and select appropriate treatments. This study evaluated utility conventional ultrasound combined with contrast-enhanced (CEUS) quantitative analysis in diagnosing nodes neck. The 39 patients primary who underwent CEUS ultrasound-guided needle biopsy were assessed. Routine type B was used record morphology presence lymphatic hilum structure. Vuebox software collect peak enhancements (PE), rise time (RT) fall (FT). receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve diagnostic value various parameters imaging characteristics. cohort comprised 26 metastasis 13 reactive hyperplasia. Most gland absent group (92.30%), showed a full shape (80.77%), few irregularly shaped (19.23%). present hyperplasia (76.95%) (61.54%). PE (4852.29 a.u) significantly lower than (11,464.70 a.u), while difference between RT FT indicators not significant. ROC that contrast phylum structure satisfactory ability for detecting neck (sensitivity 73.10%, specificity 76.90%, accuracy 48.73%, p = 0.004). Conventional observation enhancement promising metastatic nodes.

Contrast enhanced ultrasound of sentinel lymph nodes

Sentinel lymph nodes are the first lymph nodes in the region that receive lymphatic drainage from a primary tumor. The detection or exclusion of sentinel lymph node micrometastases is critical in the staging of cancer, especially breast cancer and melanoma because it directly affects patient's prognosis and surgical management. Currently, intraoperative sentinel lymph node biopsies using blue d...

Detection of colorectal cancer hepatic metastases with contrast-enhanced ultrasound: comparison with conventional B-mode ultrasound.

The aim of this study was to assess whether contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CE-US) could provide improved diagnostic information in detecting liver metastases from colorectal cancer as compared to B-mode non-enhanced ultrasound (B-US). 32 patients (M/F 23/9, age range 48-82 years, mean 58.2 years) under chemotherapy for colorectal cancer were examined with B-US and CE-US using a second-generation...

Quantitative Analysis of Enlarged Cervical Lymph Nodes with Ultrasound Elastography.

UNLABELLED PURPSOE: To investigate the diagnostic value of quantitative analysis of a tissue diffusion and virtual touch tissue imaging quantification (VTIQ) technique with acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) elastography for assessing enlarged cervical lymph nodes. MATERIALS AND METHODS Fifty-six enlarged cervical lymph nodes confirmed by pathologic diagnoses were covered in the study. A...

Endobronchial Ultrasound Elastography for Diagnosing Mediastinal and Hilar Lymph Nodes

BACKGROUND Pathophysiological processes, such as malignancy, can lead to the formation of stiffer tissue in lung cancers. Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) elastography is a novel technique for measuring tissue stiffness during EBUS-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA). The current study was conducted to investigate the diagnostic value of EBUS elastography for mediastinal and hila...
